Robert Glasgow, Managing Director
Robert co-founded Webgains together with Peter Dunham, Webgains Technical Director, in 2004. Robert's primary responsibilities include the day-to-day management of Webgains in the UK, and the strategic direction of the Webgains business across Europe and North America. In addition, Robert has been charged with developing Webgains into a sizeable pan-European media company. Webgains UK is now a significant, well-respected business and Webgains has fully localized platforms and in-country teams in France, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Spain and the USA, which opened recently.

Robert has extensive experience in running both Internet-related and high-growth businesses, having spent several years bringing American web company AllAdvantage.com to Europe. Robert also has a number of years experience running online marketing companies, joining Trafficmaid in 2001 and Affiliate Window in June 2003 as Managing Director.

Prior to the web revolution, Robert worked in the UK and Australia as a Management Consultant for the blue-chip strategic consultancy, Bain & Company, gaining experience in strategy development, process and organisational redesign and profit improvement across a wide range of industry sectors.

Robert holds a law degree from the University of London and a design degree from the University of Queensland.

Peter Dunham,  Technical Director Webgains
Peter Dunham, co-founder with Robert Glasgow, is responsible for ensuring that Webgains systems offer world-class tracking, reporting and customer support 247 hours a day 365.

Peter was formerly Chief Technical Officer at Affiliate Window where he was responsible for implementing one of the most widely respected technology platforms in the industry. Prior to that, he spent a number of years delivering cutting edge IT projects for clients such as Channel 4, the European Commission and Glaxo Smithkline. Peter set up one of the early Internet consultancies, designing and delivering solutions to early adopters and was subsequently Senior Project Manager for Oyster Partners during the dot com boom. He is a strong advocate of an engineering approach to software development as well as RAD development methodologies such as DSDM and extreme programming. Peter holds a Bachelors degree in business from City University Business School and a Masters degree in Information Systems & Technology. Peter lives in Surrey with his wife and two young sons, and in his leisure time enjoys squash and outdoor activities.

Derek Grant, Sales Director, Webgains UK
Derek Grant is Sales Manager for Webgains UK.  Derek has been with Webgains since the early days, having joined the company in April 2005 and is responsible for developing sales strategies, recruiting, training  and mentoring the sales team, assigning targets and ensuring the revenue budget is met.  Derek also trains and co-ordinates the sales personnel across our other international Webgains offices.  Derek has a history of signing very successful clients to the Webgains platform, having personally brought on board programs such as Maplin, Random House, the Gadgetshop, Hostelbookers, Barclays, Cloggs & Vitabiotics.    Prior to joining Webgains Derek worked within the customer services fraud  department of the Royal Bank of Scotland and as a fund raiser for the charity Global Support Direct in Sydney Australia.

Derek is a seasoned public speaker, having covered affiliate marketing topics at Adtech London in 2006 and in 2008.

Hero Grigoraki, Client Services Director, Webgains UK
Hero Grigoraki is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Webgains UK Account Management and customer support departments, as well as looking after key clients on the UK platform. Her role also includes ensuring the efficient transfer of skills to the account management and integration personnel across all countries in which Webgains operates
- these include the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Ireland and the USA.

Hero began working in the online marketing sector in 2002 and moved to affiliate marketing a year later. Prior to joining Webgains in 2005, Hero was affiliate manager for Boysstuff and Figleaves, where she learnt the ropes from the merchant point of view. Hero has been successfully running and managing programs for high profile Webgains merchants, such as Viking, Maplin and Matches Fashion. Her knowledge and stature in the industry were recognised when she was honoured with the ‘Account Manager of the Year’ award at the a4u awards ceremony in 2007. Hero is a qualified graphic designer, which brings a creative element to the dedicated and constructive marketing advice with which she achieves such good results for her clients.

Ryan Gilbert, Webgains Director USA
Ryan, originally from Adelaide South Australia, gained a degree in IT and graphic design in 1998 and has over 10 years of service-level management experience. Arriving in the UK in 2002, Ryan found employment with Affiliate Window as support staff. Ryan was soon promoted to Affiliate Marketing and Support Manager where he was responsible for the growth and development of the support team and played an important role in the re-development of the Affiliate Window website during 2004.
